Qik is a brand new service that wille let you stream live content from your mobile phone to the Internet.

Qik delivers a simple application to install on your mobile phone that will take control of your mobile phone camera and will deliver your video stream to QIK servers.

From what I can read from their web site the application is now designed only for Nokia phones even if they say that they are working to port the application to new mobile phones.

When you stream you content to the Internet the stream is automatically recorded on Qik servers. You can mark your stream private or public and you can notify twitter of new streams.

Be sure to have a good flat data plan before trying to be a mobile broadcaster. The application will definitely use a quite big amount of data to do its job.
